Strength & Conditioning Training in St. Augustine
Build a Stronger, Faster, More Resilient Athlete
At Royal United FC, we believe athletic development is about much more than lifting weights or running drills. True performance training is built upon movement quality, strength, speed, coordination, injury prevention, and the ability to perform consistently under pressure. Our Strength & Conditioning Program is designed to help athletes develop the physical foundation necessary to excel in soccer and other competitive sports while supporting long-term athletic development.
The program is led by Coach Nicholas Serenati, a former NCAA Division I soccer player, Licensed Coach, Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach, and Certified Sports Performance Specialist. Drawing upon years of experience in player development, sports performance training, and competitive athletics, Coach Quin utilizes evidence-based training methods that bridge the gap between athletic performance and sport-specific success.
Unlike generic fitness programs, Royal United FC’s Strength & Conditioning Training is tailored to the unique demands of youth athletes. Every session is intentionally designed to improve functional strength, explosive power, acceleration, balance, coordination, mobility, endurance, and overall athleticism. Athletes learn how to move efficiently, generate force effectively, and build the physical confidence necessary to compete at a higher level.
Our training methodology focuses on developing complete athletes through progressive programming that emphasizes proper movement mechanics, injury prevention, core stability, speed development, and performance enhancement. Whether an athlete is seeking to improve soccer performance, prepare for competitive club play, increase confidence on the field, or simply become a stronger and healthier athlete, our program provides a structured pathway toward measurable improvement.
Based in the World Golf Village area of St. Augustine, Royal United FC proudly serves athletes and families throughout St. Augustine, Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra, Nocatee, Green Cove Springs, Palm Coast, and the greater Northeast Florida region. Our mission is to help athletes unlock their full potential through professional coaching, purposeful training, and a commitment to long-term development.
At Royal United FC, we don’t simply train athletes—we build stronger, faster, more confident competitors prepared to perform when it matters most.
Strength and Conditioning Training in St. Augustine That Actually Serves the Game
Too much youth performance work is either too generic or too aggressive. One side turns training into random exercise circuits with no transfer to soccer. The other tries to train growing athletes like miniature professionals. Royal United FC takes neither path. Our strength and conditioning training model is built specifically for soccer players and scaled to age, training history, movement quality, and competitive demands.
The goal is not to create bodybuilders in cleats. The goal is to develop players who move better, produce force more efficiently, stay healthier, recover faster, and handle the demands of the modern game with confidence.
- Built for soccer: acceleration, deceleration, balance, coordination, repeat effort capacity, and movement control.
- Built for youth athletes: progressive loading, quality mechanics, and developmentally appropriate training decisions.

What This Program Develops
Royal United FC uses strength and conditioning to improve the physical qualities that actually matter for soccer performance.

Power and Explosiveness
We train force production, jumping mechanics, first-step intent, and reactive explosiveness so players can accelerate earlier, challenge more aggressively, and cover decisive ground faster.

Coordination and Movement Efficiency
Better athletes move cleaner. We develop footwork, posture, rhythm, balance, and body control so players become more efficient movers rather than frantic ones.
Durability and Resilience
Training must support availability. We focus on core stability, joint integrity, landing mechanics, deceleration control, and progressive loading so athletes build resilience instead of simply accumulating fatigue.
Game-Ready Performance
The standard is always transfer. Better movement, sharper repeat efforts, more efficient recovery, stronger body positioning, and more physical confidence inside real match demands.
How We Structure Strength and Conditioning
Royal United FC uses a progressive model that prioritizes movement quality first, then force, then speed of application, then repeatability under soccer-specific demands.
- Movement preparation and activation
- Patterning for posture, balance, and control
- Foundational strength development
- Power and explosive intent
- Speed of movement and repeat efforts
- Recovery and load management awareness
In plain language: we do not just make players tired. We make them better athletes for soccer.

Who This Program Is Built For
